The time and effort put into the understanding and development of US “shale” plays can be concentrated into a focused approach and methodology to address the Ukrainian shale plays in an efficient and timely fashion.
Although not all “shales” are the same, there are patterns and characteristics among these types of reservoirs that allow analogs from known areas to be incorporated for evaluation of new areas. Pre-Carpathian Basin area is similar in size to Delaware or Midland Basins (Permian) In USA.
